In order to help students coming from poor background and also to other citizens in dire difficulties, SVKM has set up a foundation to give financial help. During the year 2013-14, SVKM has donated Rs. 43.05 lacs to the Foundation, the amount being generated out of sale of all kinds of scrap. Assistance has been given by the Trust out of these grants towards fee concession and medical assistance to students and staff and in exceptional cases, to outsider.
