In 1961, SVKM established Mithibai College of arts and Chauhan institute of sciences followed by the inception of Amrutben Jivanlal College of commerce in 1980. The Bachelor of Management Studies (B.M.S) course has been added as a self-financing course in 1999. After which more courses such as, B.A.F, B.F.M, B.B.I at undergraduate level and Master of Commerce (M.Com)(Business Management) & (Advanced Accountancy) at postgraduate level have been added as self-financing courses from the academic year 2010 – 11.
Established in 1964, Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics is among those not just in Mumbai but also reputed at All-India-Level. The college offers undergraduate courses, viz B.Com, B.A.F, B.F.M, B.M.S at degree level apart from H.S.C in commerce and MCVC courses at the junior level. At post graduate level the college has introduced yet another undergraduate course, i.e. B.Sc. I.T.

Patel Jr. College (1992) was of established under the benevolence of the Ex-principal of Gokalibai “Shri Acharya Ambalal V.Patel” Later on new divisions of General Science and Electronics were added.
